The Challenge
Barco is an innovative electronics company based in Belgium. The challenge was to implement the four-phase growth theory into the organization: from a pilot project (phase 1), scaling up in the organization (phase 2), setting ambition and defining a value engineering program (phase 3). At the same time, we informed management, defined a strategic transformation program and created management focus (phase 4). Following these four phases leads to an improved margin.


Approach
Together with the product excellence office group PXO from Barco, we introduced and rolled out value engineering within the organization of Barco. Through value engineering and initiatives, we combined innovation with a clear focus on performance, to foster commercial and operational excellence. This resulted in a successful increase in Barco’s margins.
